As you know we moved into our new house and then about 1.5 months later we decided to get Henley our blue Great Dane. When we first got him he was about 12 lbs of pure puppy love. He is now 5 months old and weighs about 92 lbs; and only getting bigger! It’s been so fun teaching him new tricks, capturing playful moments, taking him on walks and making sure he has a well balanced diet with dog food we can trust.

I like to learn as much as I can about dog food: how it’s made, is it high quality and what goes into it. I recently started feeding him Freshpet and he cannot get enough! I put the bowl down and 10 seconds later he’s finished. I have to remove his empty bowl  because he desperately tries to find more hidden somewhere in the bottom. He gets fed morning and night and sleeps for most of the day. I love Freshpet because it’s like a home cooked meal for your pet! Freshpet also never uses artificial or chemical preservatives, or any mysterious ingredients like chicken meal.

The Freshpet box arrived in cold ice packs as if it were taken right out of the refrigerator. I like the ease of the packaging, it’s not too large and fits nicely inside my packed fridge. When reading the ingredients; such as fresh chicken, vitamin-rich peas and carrots I know it’s made with fresh, real meats and veggies. The food is also made in the U.S.A, so I know what he is eating and where it is coming from. Henley now enjoys Freshpet meals twice a day! He would have it 24/7 if he could! I think it’s safe to say he loved all three meals equally. You can learn more about Freshpet’s benefits of a fresh diet.

The rain is pretty much over and spring is coming! I am always looking for basics to add to my wardrobe and what better way than to add essential jackets and classic boots for spring from Andrew Marc.  A white dress, always a must-have for any occasion is the perfect spring neutral. I styled my favorite Andrew Marc jackets because of the intricate details, bold color and functionality. I love a classic trench for those mild spring showers. The boots, OMG are they gorgeous! These booties aren’t just for fall. Andrew Marc’s high heeled boots in leather and suede will make this white dress boho chic. Stand out this spring with any of these looks that will have you looking anything but ordinary.

Which of these looks is your favorite? They also have fabulous pieces for men too, I love this jacket for hubby!

I am one that loves comfort but also glam! I thought it would be fun to give you two looks with one pair of black jogger sweatpants. Traditionally reserved for couch days at home or a grueling workout sesh at the gym, sweats don’t exactly exude high style. Similar to styling a little black dress, adding a pair of sneakers makes a nice dress more casual. Same goes for dressing up a pair of slouchy sweatpants.

Elevated Look:

The first look is totally work appropriate. I added my favorite pair of nude pumps with a tan chiffon blouse, elevating this look with basic symmetrical colors. Tucking in the top makes my legs look longer and this outfit instantly looks sleek for office or dinner. Wearing a tighter top or luxe fabric off-sets the cozy sweatpants. Buying a black pair also helps. They go with everything!

Casual Errands:

On the weekends I love to throw on some clothes and run my errands, usually hitting Homegoods and Marshalls. I like to be comfy but also not look like I rolled out of bed. I found this ruffled mesh grey top at Nordstrom recently on sale. The material is like a sweatshirt but super stylish with ruffled sleeves. I picked up these new Thea Nike’s in classic black and white and styled them for an everyday errand outfit.

How do you feel about jogger pants, are they made for the couch or do you think dressing them up is totally worth it?
